With the CleverReach Connector—the CleverReach integration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 from datom GmbH—you can connect your Microsoft CRM to CleverReach’s professional email marketing tool. The CleverReach integration for Microsoft Dynamics is bidirectional: Through this connection, your customer data is automatically transferred to CleverReach®.

A Power Automation flow transfers bounces, clicks, and opens as campaign reactions back to Dynamics every hour and also tracks unsubscribes from the newsletter. As a result, all important data is continuously updated and supplemented automatically. Synchronization not only saves valuable time but also prevents errors that can occur during manual imports and exports.

You can get the CleverReach Connector from Microsoft AppSource.

1. The first step is to configure the CleverReach REST API for OAuth.
2. Import and configure the CleverReach Connector integration solution in Dynamics 365
3. Import our CleverReach synchronization workflows into Power Automation
4. Customize the mapping for synchronization using numerous configuration parameters, such as:
   a) Newsletter types
   b) Group prefixes
   c) Deletion settings

Dynamics to CleverReach—Configuring the datom CleverReach Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365

1. Specify which newsletter types all leads and contacts have subscribed to (if nothing is specified, they will not receive a newsletter)
2. Create a campaign, a campaign activity, or a marketing list (either dynamic or static)
3. Select a newsletter type for the campaign, campaign activity, or marketing list you created
4. Start the synchronization via the Dynamics form
5. All associated leads, contacts, or primary contacts of accounts for the synchronized campaign, campaign activity, or marketing list are checked to see if they have subscribed to this newsletter type
6. All matching leads, contacts, or primary contacts of accounts are transferred as recipients to the corresponding group in CleverReach (see field mapping below)
7. Whenever a specific field in leads, contacts, accounts, campaigns, campaign activities, or marketing lists is changed, an update is triggered in CleverReach (see field mapping below: CleverReach to Dynamics)
