Attract and Manage Recipients More Easily with Our Forms Module (Beta)
New: The Forms Module (Beta) for simple email subscriptions and unsubscribes. Give it a try!
Growing and managing your email list is of particular importance in email marketing. A few weeks ago we introduced our Preference Center that helps you manage the preferences of your recipients. We now release the Forms Module (Beta) which allows you to create your signup- and unsubscribe forms more intuitively and with greater flexibility.
Intuitively Create Newsletter Forms with Drag & Drop
The new beta feature comes with an improved usability of our newsletter forms. You can now create your signup- and unsubscribe forms using the usual CleverReach drag & drop editor.
The Form Editor provides you with predesigned elements for data queries: input fields, checkboxes, and drop-down boxes. You can arrange and move them anywhere on the form.
To save the requested data, you can choose for each form field whether to save the entered information as a data field or (now new) as a tag for your recipients.
Unsubscribe reasons provide valuable insights to optimize future newsletters. Simply add a checkbox or dropdown with pre-selected reasons and save the information as a data field. If you have enabled automatic deletion of unsubscribed recipients, remember to export the results periodically for analysis.
Flexible Layout Elements for More Design Freedom
In addition to an improved usability we have added more design options to our new Forms Module (Beta). Choose different colors and redesign your forms with a single click using predesigned themes.
You can also use all the familiar layout elements from our newsletter editor. Customize the forms to match your branding:
- Easily drag and drop images, text, and buttons to make your forms more engaging.
- Structure forms with columns, spacing, and dividers.
- Customize each element by specifying foreground and background fonts and colors.
- Get new followers by linking your social media channels in your forms.
Clear Signup- and Unsubscribe Process
Not only have simplified the forms creation process, but the entire workflow for confirmation emails and newsletter subscription/unsubscribes is now even easier. You can see all the necessary steps for your signup- or unsubscribe form in a clear view and easily design them in the editor.
And what’s best: the design you create for your form will be used throughout the entire subscription and unsubscribe process. This saves you valuable time and means you don’t have to reimplement your design over and over again. Of course, you can still customize your emails or confirmation pages if you wish.
Use the information or interests requested in the signup form in the Preference Center. Add additional fields as needed. A link in the newsletter will allow your recipients to update the information they provided during the subscription process.
More Benefits of Our Forms Module (Beta)
- You create signup- and unsubscribe forms independently, giving you greater flexibility in how you design them.
- Even before you create a form, you decide how it will be displayed: integrated into the website, as a landing page or pop-up. This allows you to better tailor the design to the form type.
- Use the checklist at the end of creating a form to see all the important settings and double-check the details you have just added.
- The beta signup forms allow you to change the connected recipient list afterwards, so you don’t have to create a new form.
- Data security is a top priority for us. That’s why, as usual, we made sure that the Forms Module (Beta) is fully GDPR-compliant.
