Connect Magento and CleverReach with each other

Installation:
Step 1
On Magento’s website you can Request the extension key. Go to your shop’s Magento-Connect Manager and type in the extension key from CleverReach Connect.

Important: You have to log out and then log back in, after a successful installation.
Step 2
Please click on „Configuration“ in your adminstration panel of your shop.

In the menu, on the left side of the page, you will find under the „Customer“ section the option "CleverReach Connect" through which you can install the plugin.

Save your API-Key and the List-ID of each group from your CleverReach account.
You can find your API-Key and the List-ID, in your CleverReach account, within each group under “Settings >> API Key".


Here you are able to configurate the following options:
- Import Orders Set the option to YES, so that all your customers, including order information will automatically be transferred to your CleverReach account.
- Force order reactivation When you set the option to YES, the customers that unsubscribed the newsletter will be activated again, as soon as they place a new order. If you do not wish for this to happen, then leave the option set to NO so that the unsubscribed user, when placing a new order, will remain inactive.
If you set the option to NO, only customers that registered through the newsletter registration form or who have ordered the newsletter through customer service will be transferred.
Import of all existing client data
After successfully installing the plug in, you can transfer all existing client data to CleverReach , with just one click. All future data, thereafter, will automatically be transferred.
In the menu on top click Newsletter >> Subscribers. The complete administration of your recipients is done under CleverReach. On this page, you will find all information about your CleverReach account and each group of recipients. Here you can start your first import of data, after activating the plug in. Just click on the link "Synchnonize data with CleverReach now". All data, according to your setting specifications will be transferred to your group under your CleverReach account. This process can take some time, depending on the amount of data being transferred.
Conversion Tracking
With CleverReach Connect, you are are able to automatically follow the turnover that your emails have reached. In order to activate this function, when generating a new email you have to tick the checkbox under "Tracking".

After after dispatching emails you will receive a report with information about orders and sales.

Legal Measures
Dispatching emails to newsletter subscribers:
process. This means that to be able to be listed in the recipient list a second step has to be verified. For this purpose, Magento sends out an email including a confirmation link, which the recipient has to click. Only then, will he be activated to be able to receive the emails.
This double opt-in function must additionally be activated!
Under System >> Configuration >> Newsletter you will find the item "Need to Confirm". Here you have to choose and save "Yes".
Dispatch emails to customers:
You are only permitted to send your online shop customers emails if they have been provided with the information in the following statement.
"The use of your data for advertising purposes for simliar goods and services is not excluded. You are entitled to object to this utilization at any time, without extra fees except for basic rate processing costs that may incur."
This means: On the registration page, on which the user fills out his data, this term has to be explicitly and clearly visible. An indication of this information under "Terms and Conditions" or in the "Privacy Policy" is insufficient.
